HOW TO REQUEST
MILITARY TRANSCRIPTS
(External links open in a new browser window.)
Navy and Marine Corps:
Active duty Sailors and Marines have access to and may request a copy of
their SMART online at
https://www.navycollege.navy.mil/transcript.html or by E-mail at: ncc@cnet.navy.mil
or by calling toll free at (877) 253-7122
Many Navy or Marine Corps veterans may not know
about the SMART transcript because it wasn’t available when they were on
active duty. It is a complete official record of the veteran’s military
schooling and experience AND provides the number of semester hours of
college level credit that schooling and experience is worth, according to
the American Council on Education (ACE). Navy data goes back to 1990;
Marine Corps data to 1999.
Separated/retired Navy personnel now have access to
their SMART online. If unable to access your SMART, a transcript
containing information from 1976 to present can be created. Please call
the Navy College Center at 1-877-253-7122 for more information.
The Navy or Marine Corps veteran can obtain his or
her SMART by contacting the Navy College Center in Pensacola, FL at the
number above.
