Math Competency: Passing the Math
Placement Test or completion of one year of high school algebra with a
grade of "C" or better, or passing elementary algebra or
higher level math course at Coastline or another college with a grade of
"C" or better or ratings that include technical math or
higher.
There is a Global/Multicultural Studies Requirement
which can be satisfied by some courses in C. and D. above
General education courses are available from
Coastline through distance learning.
Other college courses can transfer in as well.
| II. Major

When ACE Guide recommended credits for military major
are less than 18,
distance learning Coastline courses in the Major are available to make
up the difference.
Any college
level credit, including courses, military credits
or tests such as CLEPs and DANTES.
Credits in the Major in excess of the required
18 are applied as Elective credit.
A maximum of 40sh may be awarded for non-traditional or military credit.
