MyCCC will be down from May 9 - May 18, 2008 for a necessary relocation of hardware.

During this down time, the following services will NOT be available:

• Gmail (@student.cccd.edu) email accounts.
• Student Services such as registration, dropping classes, transcript requests, and financial records.
• The online searchable class schedule.

The following services WILL still be available:

• Course websites (Seaport)
• Online quizzes and exams
• Online Student Drop Boxes
• Class schedule download (PDF document)
• Coastline College website

Please make any necessary arrangements before this time to access MyCCC, online registration, transcripts, and financial records. If you need to drop a class, make sure you do so by May 8th.

Access Course Websites (Seaport)

During the MyCCC downtime, you can login to your course website (Seaport) by following these steps.

• Go to the MyCCC login page at http://myccc.coastline.edu
• Enter your MyCCC username and password.
• You will be redirected to your Seaport Student Desktop where you can access your course website.

If you are unable to successfully login using your MyCCC username and password, you will be redirected to login directly to Seaport. You can login to Seaport using either your MyCCC credentials or your Seaport credentials.

Login to Seaport with your MyCCC Credentials

• Go to the Seaport login page at http://seaport.coastline.edu
• Enter your MyCCC Username
• Enter your initial MyCCC Password. Your initial MyCCC password is your birth date in the six-digit format (mmddyy). For example, if you birth date is March 5, 1987, enter: 030587

Login to Seaport with your Seaport Credentials

• Go to the Seaport login page at http://seaport.coastline.edu
• Enter the last 8-digits of your Student ID (no letter "C" and no dashes or spaces).
• Enter your Seaport password. The password is case sensitive.

If you have forgotten your Seaport password or have never setup a Seaport password before, you can reset your Seaport password and have it emailed to your Gmail (@student.cccd.edu) address.

To reset your Seaport password,

• Go to the Seaport login page at http://seaport.coastline.edu
• Scroll down the page and click on the "Reset my Seaport password" button.
• Enter your Student ID (8 digits, no letter "C" and no dashes or spaces).
• Check your school email account for further directions. Your new Seaport password will be emailed to you.

To ensure that you maintain uninterrupted access to your course websites (Seaport), we strongly recommend that you login directly to Seaport at least once, between now and May 8th, to set up your Seaport password. If you need to have your Seaport password reset, do this immediately since you will not be able to access your Gmail account from May 9 - May 16.

Your instructors are aware of the situation and understand that you will not be able to access your Gmail account during the MyCCC downtime. However, you can still contact your instructor via their @coastline.edu email. Instructors' email addresses are listed on the course websites (in Seaport).
