Withdrawal From Class:
A
student assumes full responsibility for completing each course in
which he or she has registered. If a student wishes to withdraw from
a course, it is the student's responsibility to do so utilizing the
online drop form and according to policy outlined below.
- In order to withdraw
from a course and receive a full refund of tuition, the student
must:
- Submit the Online
Drop Form or before the Friday of the first week of the class
session.
- Return textbooks,
unopened and in the same manner received, to MBS according to
the procedures included with the textbook shipment and within
two weeks after the start date of the class session.
- Failure to return
course textbook(s) to MBS within the 2 week timeframe obligates
the student to a $100 textbook fee which will be retained from
tuition paid.
- Refunds are processed
on the Friday of the 3rd week of each session.
- Students are not
eligible for a tuition refund for drop requests submitted after
the Friday of the first week of class.
- No transcript entry
will be made on the transcript for students who officially withdraw
on or before the Friday of the 3rd week
- A grade of “W”
will be assigned for students who submit their drop request after
the Friday of the 3rd week, and on or before the Friday of the 6th
week of the class.
- Failure to withdraw
under one of the conditions outlined above will result in a grade
of “F” posted to the official transcript.
