"1 Carat" Incentive Program:
Students are eligible to receive the 1 Carat Course Completion Incentive scholarship of up to $250 upon achieving 100% completion of their GEM plan. Students will receive at least $50 for every course successfully taken at Coastline if the following criteria are met:
- Students must establish a GEM plan, through their Air Force Virtual Education Center (AFVEC) account, designating Coastline as their GEM institution.
- Students must complete their courses within the allotted time frame, meaning the number of courses on the GEM plan corresponds with the number of sessions allowed for completion.
- We recommend that students submit the 1 Carat Incentive Scholarship Application within 60 days of completing their final session.
Students are eligible for the following:

| 2 courses needed | Completed in 2 or fewer sessions | $100 |

| 4 courses needed | Completed in 4 or fewer sessions | $200 |
| 5 courses needed | Completed in 5 or fewer sessions | $250 |
If a student has already fulfilled a general education course on their GEM plan, they must contact an Air Force Counselor to have it added to their plan.
Withdrawal from a course for military reasons will not count against students in the completion timeline.
After completing the last course at Coastline, students must submit an official transcript to Community College of the Air Force to have the Coastline courses applied towards their CCAF degree. Please visit our Transcript Information page to request an official Coastline Transcript.
