All quizzes are open book. When you are ready to take your quiz, click on Take Quiz and submit your answers. You will be allowed to take the quiz only one time. The online quiz will not be available after the due date. Quiz results will be e-mailed to you immediately after you have submitted your quiz.
Accessibility Note for Those Who Use Screen Reader Software:
The online quiz software we currently use does not create a page which is completely accessible to some screen readers. If your screen reader does not read the "Take Quiz" page correctly to you, please contact your instructor for further instructions.
Your user name for the quizzes is the (first 2 letters of your first name) + (your last name) + (the last four digits of you student ID), all in lower case. Your password is the first three digits of your Student ID, no dashes.
Example: John Smith 123-45-6789
Username: josmith6789
Password: 123
*Warning- To students using Internet Explorer.
If you hit the enter key before you finish your quiz, your answers will be submitted. Be sure not to use the enter key unless you have completed your quiz and have entered your valid e-mail address. This problem does not happen with Netscape Navigator.
Be sure that you are ready to complete the quiz when you begin; you will not be allowed to access the quiz a second time.
To access the quizzes, you will need to be using a personal computer with Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. Macintosh computers and Netscape browsers may not be able to access the quizzes. In case your computer or browser cannot access the quiz system, you may send in your quizzes on a Scantron. Scantrons can be purchased online from the Coastline College Bookstore.
