How to get your Coastline AA Degree
and your CCAF Degree
AT THE SAME TIME!

STEP 1: Fulfill your CCAF "general education" requirements

Take four (4) Coastline courses and the speech DSST (not offered at Coastline).

Note: Four Coastline courses (12 semester hours) also satisfies Coastline's residency requirements.

It's simple to get two degrees for the price of one. With only four more courses your CCAF degree can also earn you an equivalent Coastline College AA degree. Your CCAF degree and military experience combine to earn you our degree after only four classes.

STEP 2: Fulfill your Coastline "general education" requirements

Take a Natural Science course to complete the final Coastline "general education" requirement.

One Natural Science Course is all that is needed to complete Coastline's general education requirement.

STEP 3: Fulfill your Coastline AA Degree

Transfer in all your CCAF credits - Coastline will accept them all! 42 CCAF credits will complete both degrees - CONGRATULATIONS!
(If you need more CCAF credits, go to Step 4. Coastline courses may help you)

STEP 4: (If you need more CCAF credits)

Coastline courses that fulfill other CCAFdegree requirements (confirm w/your CCAF counselor):

CCAF Technical Education: BIOL 100 - Intro to Biology; MATH 115 - College Algebra; MATH 160 - Intro to Statistics; PSYC 100 - Intro to Psychology; SOC 100 - Intro to Sociology.
CCAF Leadership, Mgmt. & Military Studies: M&S 100 Organization/Mgmt.; M&S 104 - Human Resource Mgmt.
