Army National Guard and Army National Guard Reservist

Step 1: Apply to Coastline

  • New students and students who have not taken courses in 2 or more terms, please visit the following link to fill out the online application.
  • Don’t forget to enter "MIL1" in the supplemental page of the application, which will indicate your participation in one of our military programs.

*If you are on active duty, apply and register through GoArmyEd.

Step 2: Register for courses

*If you need help choosing courses and don’t have an official SOCAD agreement with Coastline. You can get an unofficial education plan by emailing your unofficial transcripts to army@coastline.edu or faxing them to 714-241-6324. Please include your email address and desired major with your fax.

Step 3: Pay for your courses by published deadlines

  • Submit credit card payment via MyCCC

* National Guard Soldiers in drilling status do not access TA through GoArmyEd. Refer to the Web site for information on obtaining TA through the National Guard.

Step 4: Order Textbooks

  • Login to your student email account to retrieve $50 textbook voucher.
  • Order textbooks from MBS Direct.

Step 5: Course Access

  • Login to your course(s) one week prior to the course start date.
