DROP, WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICIES:

A student who has officially registered assumes full responsibility for completing each course in which she or he has registered. If a course withdrawal is necessary, it is the student's responsibility to do so through GoArmyEd.

If TA was used and a refund is due, the appropriate refund shall be made to the student and the government in the same proportions as paid at the time of enrollment.

Withdrawals of students due to unforeseen military commitments shall not be the basis for any special charge to the student. The Commanding Officer shall determine unforeseen military commitments. In the event that a course is terminated by the college, tuition paid will be 100% refunded. Refunds are made in compliance with existing DoD or military contract regulations.

DROP POLICY:

  • In order to drop a course and receive a full refund, the student must drop through the GoArmyEd portal no later than the 6th day from the start of the course and return the PDA device and SD card within 14 days of submitting the drop request.

  • If a drop request is received but the PDA is not returned within 14 days, an obligation in the amount of $256.00 shall be posted to the student’s record at Coastline. Further, this obligation will place a hold on registration, transcripts and grade requests until receipt of the PDA and SD card.

  • No transcript entry will be made for students who submit their drop request prior to the 25th day from the start of the course. However, no refund will apply.

  • A grade of “W” shall be entered on the transcript for students who submit their drop request after the 25th day and prior to the 63rd day from the start of the course.

  • Failure to drop prior to the 63rd day may result in the instructor issuing a grade of “F”.
