Who
is Eligible?
- To enroll in a PocketEd
course, students must have already
successfully completed at least one college level course, or the
appropriate waiver must be completed and submitted with registration
documents.
- All PocketEd Program
registration documents, including TA, Proctor Agreement form and
online registration, must be received no later than the
1st day of the month before you wish to start your program
(click on Steps to Register above.) Failure
to submit paperwork on time may result in your enrollment not being approved. If you are not approved for any term, you will be required to register again and complete all steps prior to the deadline for the next available term.
- Students
may enroll in up to two courses at a time per term, and are expected
to complete the courses within 12 weeks of the start date.
PocketEd courses are built to be completed within a 12 week period.
Failure to complete the course
within the allotted time may result in the student being financially
obligated to the government for their TA funds.
The PocketEd Program is
an excellent learning solution for the deployed student who may not
have internet access; however, because of the extremely self-contained,
self-directed and self-motivated nature of the coursework, students
are highly encouraged to first explore the more flexible distance
learning opportunities provided through regular internet course work http://military.coastline.edu/common/courses.htm.
Internet courses offer
a higher level of guidance and support throughout the session.
